The Foundation

Obsnap Sales & Service is established, laying the groundwork as a trusted distributor of quality measuring and testing instruments for various QA/QC industries in Malaysia.

2002

Corporate Expansion

The company officially registers as Obsnap Instruments Sdn Bhd, rapidly expanding its global partnerships and industrial clientele.

2012

The Birth of Meridian

Meridian Scientific Instruments is officially launched as a dedicated brand under the Obsnap umbrella, initially focusing on the distribution of biomedical, scientific, and specialized laboratory equipment.

2015

Industry Recognition

Obsnap Instruments Sdn Bhd is awarded the prestigious Asia Pacific Top Excellence Brand by Global Business Magazine, cementing our reputation for excellence in the local industrial sector.

2017

Unifying the Vision

The Obsnap Group of Companies is formally established to manage and promote our rapidly expanding product lines, calibration services, and specialized sister brands.

2019

Meridian Manufacturing Begins

A major leap forward is taken with the establishment of Meridian Labtek Manufacturing. Meridian shifts to specializing directly in the design, development, and manufacturing of our own Climatic Test Chambers (Walk-in, Bench-Top, and Floor-Type). This milestone allows us to provide custom-built, highly accurate environmental simulators tailored to the exact testing needs of our clients.
